The 2020 Roden Crater Fieldwork Studio explored the potential for building both temporary and permanent housing structures in the remote high desert surroundings of Roden Crater. This imaginative studio examined materials and structures compatible with the climate of the region. The faculty and students consulted with the Roden Crater architect and stakeholders as they collected data towards their final proposal, which was made into a professional design compendium.
